AJ Audio is a simple lightweight Jellyfin audio client which allows you to stream music to your Windows PC.

* Music Importing requires you to locate the Music folder stored on the server (via network share/UNC)

Supported Formats

AJ Audio supports the following formats: .mp3, .wav, .flac, .wma, .aiff, .ogg

If you try playing an unsupported file, your Jellyfin server will attempt to transcode the file to an accepted format instead. These files are stored in a cache and are deleted when the session ends (depending on your Automatic Downloads config)

Windows Shortcuts (Experimental)

Aj Audio will create a shortcut in your Home folder referencing the Song ID, which allows songs to be searched via the Start Menu. By default this setting is disabled and is experimental.

Background Info

I was looking for a Jellyfin Audio Client for Windows which looked nice enough, but offered lyric support. I've always downloaded my music and avoided streaming services such as Spotify & Apple Music, and historically I've always kept my music on my local C drive; allowing songs to be searched quickly through the start menu, press enter and they're playing! Of course, I've now transferred this music to my Jellyfin server, and because Windows is so broken, it doesn't allow you to natively search UNC/network shares. Well, now it can at least search through this app.

You may experience bugs/issues as this project is new and in active development. Please let me know if you do experience any.
